Software

PC is running the ES2000 Multi-line Management Software (manual) on Windows 7.

Ensure the message distribution is ready by inspecting the status bar at the bottom of the window.

Configuration

Configuration is as follows:

• Communication Settings:

  • Enter Communication Mode Settings...
    • Select the 232 (RS-232) communication mode.
  • Enter Set Comport & Addr.(RS-232)...
    • Select the communication port (ComPort) that connects to the PC from the drop-list.
  • Enter Set Baud Rate(RS-232)...
    • Select the default baud rate of 9600bps.

• Update:

  • Select Turn the Sign ON, to activate the sign. Then,
  • Select Test Display Board. To run a series of test patterns. And if the test displays on the board. Then,
  • Select Clear the Sign, to clear the demo output from the sign. Then,
  • Select All(Text Files, Graphic Files and Schedules), to send the current MAIN file to the board.

Troubleshooting

The board displays a series of demo messages

• Navigate to Update -> Turn the Sign ON, then Update -> Clear the Sign to remove all scheduled messages
• Write the message you intend to display
• Navigate to Update -> All(Text Files, Graphic Files and Schedules) to push the intended message across
